Rules & Guidelines
To ensure that everyone’s stay is enjoyable, please observe the Rules and Guidelines as set out below
Sorry we are unable to accept credit or debit cards at this moment. Contactless payment can be arranged via Bacs.
It may be possible to extend your stay until 6pm for an additional fee of £5, please ask when booking.
Arrivals please phone reception and wait in your vehicle.
Arrival after 1.00pm and before 8pm, (later arrivals by prior arrangement.)
Departure by 12 noon.
No Commercial vehicles will be allowed onto the Park including recreational vehicles. Now due to customer request we are now strictly enforcing it. Anyone trying to enter the Park will be asked to leave and no refunds of any monies paid will be returned.
Sorry but no wood or rubbish fires. No fire pits. We only allow gas or charcoal barbecues on site but they must be kept at least 6″ off the ground. (This is due to the damage to the ground, our trees and the smoke.
The party leader (name the booking made in) is responsible for all of their party / visitors & their actions, including any costs incurred.
Please supervise your children, particularly when using the toilet block and washing up facilities.
We make every effort to keep the site facilities clean and tidy and ask for your assistance in maintaining this standard by using the refuse and recycling bins and chemical disposal points provided, and by leaving all facilities clean after use.
Fire extinguishers and hydrants are located at strategic points around the site, please make the effort to locate the one nearest to your pitch.
Dale Hey Touring Park is responsible for the safety of electrical points only up to the socket outlets. Persons using the electrical point are responsible for their connector cable, plugs and all equipment connected thereto which must comply with all current British Standards and Regulations.
If a client leaves a unit or other property on site without payment and without the prior consent of the Site Manager then the Management Company reserves the right to make arrangements for the removal and/or storage of said property at the expense of the client.
SPEED LIMIT of 5 m.p.h. to be observed at all times.
LEARNER DRIVERS and MOTORISED SCOOTERS are prohibited.
DANGEROUS ITEMS (Air guns / Soft air guns / Knives and Fireworks) are strictly prohibited & will be confiscated.
NO CHINESE FIRE LANTERNS ALLOWED ON THE PARK AT ANY TIME
Please keep Noise to a minimum, especially after 11 p.m.
No Unaccompanied Children (Under 18) After 10pm anywhere on the park.
Parents or Guardians are responsible for their children’s actions and their safety at all times whilst on the Park. Children (Under 18) must not be left unattended.
No single sex groups accommodated. (Special circumstances may be considered).
No groups under 21 accommodated. (Special circumstances may be considered).
No hosepipes, washing of cars & caravans on the Park is strictly prohibited.
No ball games etc (football / cricket / rounders, etc) between Units (cars, caravans, tents, etc)
Strictly no leather / hard balls (Football / Cricket & Baseballs) to be used on the main Park.
Cyclists must keep to the roads and have cycle lights on if used at night.
No skateboards please as these are a Danger to other Park users.
No Paddling Pools Allowed (As these pose a drowning hazard and we are governed by a water meter).
No String Washing Lines. Please only use hook-on window type clothes dryers.
Responsible dog owners are welcome but dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and fouling will not be tolerated, a dog walking area is provided for this purpose.
Group Bookings are available but be advised you must tell us when booking if you want to be together.
The barriers must not be misused as they are for the security of all , rules are displayed and must be adhered to.
DO NOT WALK OR CYCLE UNDER BARRIERS (or allow your children too)
Please use the provided waste water points, chemical disposal points, skips and wheely bins for the appropriate waste.
Standpipes are conveniently placed for drinking water only.
Please use roads provided and a torch, after dark, would be advisable. (We cannot be held responsible for accidents resulting from short cuts.)
If you have any queries that are not covered in this section please ask before making a booking.
Please Note: These rules have been put in place for your own safety and to ensure that all our customers have an enjoyable stay. Anyone causing a nuisance should be reported to reception, and we will endeavour to resolve the problem. Persons continually causing a nuisance to others will be evicted from the site without a refund
Management reserves the right to require guests who behave noisily or inappropriately to leave.
